A year gone, and what do I have to show for it?
A year later, what do I want to sound like?

I  know I'm better, but I'm still woefully unlearned about much of the music theory. I know bits and pieces, but that is not enough.

I'd like to have greater mobility / grace along the fretboard when playing individual notes.

My barre chords are coming along nicely. I've gone from "this is impossible," to, "hey... I heard all of those notes!". I want to use them more.

I want to learn what it means to play things in different keys - and demonstrate that knowledge.

I want to double the amount of songs I can currently play.

On my second year, if I'm still playing, if I still love it, if I've reached these goals (meager as they are), then I will buy myself another guitar.

Possibly electric... *smirks*
